Trinity Learning Center of Trinity Presbyterian Church offers a Christian based curriculum in a nurturing, loving and safe environment. Our curriculum will provide a strong developmental and pre-academic basis for each child. It is our hope that your child’s experiences with us will be filled with fun, warmth, security, exploration, and discovery. Children are creative and receptive, and our program strives to nurture and encourage these qualities. It is also our desire to develop close and cooperative relationships with the parents of children in our program.

Trinity Learning Center is a ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church and a committee of the church session. Space, utilities, insurance, and bookkeeping are part of the financial support provided by Trinity Presbyterian Church. Tuition and registration fees of children provide the remainder of the working budget. TLC is fully licensed by the State of Florida and meets or exceeds all Department of Children and Families requirements for the state and county (license number C01E50149).

TLC To Remain Closed Until May 2nd Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic

 Thursday, April 2, 2020

 Dear Trinity Learning Center Families,

With the number of cases of COVID-19 in Escambia County rising  and with Governor Ron DeSantis  issuing a stay at home order for 30 days , we have decided and advise you that TLC preschool will remain closed until May 2nd . We hope to reopen on Monday, May 4th. If we remain open now we are not in compliance with CDC guidelines nor can we prohibit the transfer of germs and viruses by children who share toys and apparatuses.

Please know that utmost in our minds and our intention is to safeguard the health and safety of our TLC children, their teachers and staff, and you, their families. This extension of closure does not affect anyone’s enrollment status of your child (ren), all present and future enrollment remains intact.  TLC fees will not be charged for April.

All in-person worship and all non-essential on-site gatherings at Trinity Presbyterian Church remain cancelled.

Making the best of this hard decision to remain closed, we are working with our contractor to undertake the planned upcoming renovations of the classrooms and bathroom in the Children’s Wing/TLC Wing during the closure that was previously scheduled for the end of May.

Our Elders, staff, and pastors continue to face difficult decisions and plans, and we remind ourselves that our obligation is to safeguard you and your children, our members, and our neighbors.  Know that we care about you and look forward to returning to some sense of normalcy soon and welcoming you and your children back to TLC!

Blessings and Peace,

Hugh Hamilton, Pastor
