Trinity Learning Center of Trinity Presbyterian Church offers a Christian based curriculum in a nurturing, loving and safe environment. Our curriculum will provide a strong developmental and pre-academic basis for each child. It is our hope that your child’s experiences with us will be filled with fun, warmth, security, exploration, and discovery. Children are creative and receptive, and our program strives to nurture and encourage these qualities. It is also our desire to develop close and cooperative relationships with the parents of children in our program.
Trinity Learning Center is a ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church and a committee of the church session. Space, utilities, insurance, and bookkeeping are part of the financial support provided by Trinity Presbyterian Church. Tuition and registration fees of children provide the remainder of the working budget. TLC is fully licensed by the State of Florida and meets or exceeds all Department of Children and Families requirements for the state and county (license number C01E50149).
Trinity Learning Center has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has been a Florida Gold Seal School for over 20 years. It is our pledge to uphold the standards set by NAEYC and the high quality of services we offer to our families and children. Hours of operation
TLC is open Monday through Friday. We offer part day program: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. We also offer a full day program from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Our school year runs from August – May.
TLC offers a separate Summer Fun program with part day hours from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and full day hours from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Children currently enrolled in TLC have first priority for the summer program, but do not have to attend Summer Fun in order to hold their spot in the fall classes.
Registration
A child’s placement in TLC is determined by his/her age on September 1st of the current school year. For example, the child must be three years old by September 1st in order to enter the three-year-old class. The September 1st date is mandated by the state school system and has been chosen for educational reasons. Your child must be completely potty trained to enter the four year old program.
Registration for the upcoming school year will be open to currently enrolled children and siblings first, then church members and finally open to the public. We cannot hold a space for your child without payment of the registration fee.
In order to be registered in TLC, we must have a completed registration form and the registration fee. In addition, blue immunization form and yellow physical form before your child may attend school. These forms must be kept current during the school year. You should plan to have shots by the expiration date on the back of the blue card and physicals are good for two years from the date of original physical. These files will be kept locked in our main office and will be kept confidential. Administration and State Licensing Departments will check them quarterly.
